You both want to get to know each other — this is mutual interest. Your shared chat opens after the required confirmations and checks.
With an agency
You chat with your agency. The surrogate chats separately with a representative of your agency.
Contact details are not shared automatically.
04. 14-day introduction period
Chat, review information, and meet by video.
The period starts after the proposal is accepted separately and the start is confirmed on FetusPlus. During this time, you focus only on each other within the FetusPlus matching process.
Video meeting
Meet by video before deciding on a match. The meeting takes place via an external link agreed upon through FetusPlus.
When an agency is involved, the two sides continue to chat with it separately.
05. Match
Both sides have confirmed their choice.
After the video meeting, you and the surrogate make your decisions separately. FetusPlus records a match once the required confirmations and checks are completed successfully, while the introduction period is still active.
If an agency manages the matching process, it coordinates the confirmations. The decision remains yours and the surrogate’s.

With an agency
Consider a proposal to meet a specific family. You decide whether to continue. You can talk with the agency first to learn about its work. That conversation is not yet about a specific family.

Discuss what matters to you on FetusPlus.
On your own
When there is mutual interest, your shared chat with the intended parents opens after the required confirmations and checks.
With an agency
You talk with a representative about a specific family. The intended parents chat with that representative separately. Your profile is shared with the intended parents once the required consents, including yours, have been given.
Contact details are not shared automatically.
04. 14-day introduction period
Chat, review information, and meet by video.
You separately accept the proposal for an introduction period. Once its start is confirmed on FetusPlus, you focus only on this family within the FetusPlus matching process.
Video meeting
Choose a suitable time from the options offered and meet the intended parents by video.
When an agency is involved, the two sides continue to chat with it separately.
05. Match
Both sides have confirmed their choice.
After the video meeting, you respond separately to a request to confirm your choice. A match requires decisions from both sides and the conditions to be met while the introduction period is still active.

The agency’s path
01. Connect with intended parents
An invitation and permission to manage matching.
New client
First, enter into an agreement with the intended parents or obtain their explicit written authorization.
Already working together
Start by inviting your existing clients. The intended parents accept the invitation separately and authorize you to manage matching.
You can begin once your agency is ready and the access requirements are met.
02. Propose an introduction
Choose a potential surrogate for a specific family.
Propose an introduction between a surrogate and specific intended parents who are connected with your agency. She decides whether to continue.
General inquiries
You can answer questions about your agency. A proposal involving a specific family is made separately.
03. Share the profile
The surrogate’s consent and the intended parents’ decision.
Once the required consents, including the surrogate’s, have been given, share the permitted parts of her profile with the intended parents. They decide separately whether to continue the introduction. Communication with each side takes place in a separate chat.
04. 14-day introduction period
Separate chats and a video meeting.
After the surrogate accepts the proposal and the start is confirmed, the two sides focus only on each other within the FetusPlus matching process.
Video meeting
Suggest a time and a link, help with the meeting, and mark it as completed on FetusPlus.
Communication with each side remains separate.

The intended parents and surrogate have confirmed their choice.
After the video meeting and the intended parents’ decision, send a request to the surrogate. She responds separately. Once the required confirmations and checks are completed successfully, FetusPlus records a match while the introduction period is still active.
